Cree XP-E Blue

The Cree 3 Watt XP-E Blue is a great Moon Light. Unlike the Royal Blue it does not have a significant effect on photosynthesis. Its best used to simulate a natural moonlight without the actinic pop our Premium Royal Blues have. It is also used to bring out certain coral colours. For a Moonlight, generally only a 2-3 are needed without optics for each foot of tank length. Moonlights when used in conjunction with a quality controller will help simulate the natural reef environment.
