The SolarBlast was designed by Apollo Reef with our help to specifically meet the needs of Marine Aquaculture. This is an Evolutionary Reef Light designed by Reef Keepers for Reef Keepers. The Spectrum was specifically designed to meet the needs of the Home Coral Reef.
Simply, It’s a “plug and play” cost effective solution for your aquarium that will provide a stunningly beautiful lighting experience for you and your corals. Apollo lights are built with the latest high end Bridgelux Power Chips and are cooled by a custom heavy duty heat sinks along with quiet internal fans to ensure long service life.
Apollos Custom made housings are aluminum based to last longer than steel and are vented all the way around to ensure proper thermal management. Unlike other low quality imports these will not rust, are designed with proper thermal efficiency and simply are not in the same class of other generic BridgeLux or EpiStar LED fixtures .
Circuit boards are built specifically utilizing zener diodes so that if one LED fails the rest will continue lighting. Each light is assembled in the USA and tested. A two year warranty by Apollo is included.
Optical spread is balanced perfectly perfectly with one angle, not two. There are no shadows from braces and as high as 300 PAR through 24” of water! The heat sinks, LED brand, optical angle and circuit design are major enhancements over the competitors offerings. A super high PAR light with the correct optical focus to balance intensity and spread where you need both.
